Hi, I’m Harjeet Kaur— a mom, a salon professional , and a woman who was running on empty for years.
Most mornings started the same way for me — rushing out the door around 9 a.m., barely finishing my Tea, knowing I won’t be home until after 9 at night. By the time I walk through the door, my 11-year-old daughter is either asleep or waiting just to say goodnight. It broke my heart every single time.
She often asks, “Mom, can you take a day off this weekend?”And most weekends, I can’t. Saturdays are the busiest days at the salon, and Sundays off are a rare blessing.
I’ve spent years working long hours, always thinking — this is what I have to do for my family. But somewhere along the way, I realized I was providing for her but not being there for her. She’s growing up so fast, and I don’t want to miss the moments that truly matter.
That’s when I decided to start my digital marketing journey. I wanted a way to create income without sacrificing all my time — to be home more, to pick her up from school, to actually have dinner together, to laugh, to live.
This business gave me a vision— that I can still support my family, but on my terms. My goal was to slowly cut back my salon hours and eventually build a lifestyle that allows me to work from home, spend more time with my daughter, and never feel guilty for choosing family over work.
